Connection creates balance

WW&B aims to actively assist in the shift required to move away from a society based on industrial growth and towards a civilization that is life sustaining.

Our work is part of a bigger ecological movement and changing worldview. Humans who feel part of nature are more inclined to protect the land and the eco-system they live in and depend upon. We will be sharing knowledge and tools and offering products that allow people to integrate nature and wilderness in daily life and become more self-reliant and resilient. Building more autonomy sets us free from an economy that is based on creating needs that have to be fulfilled in order to become happy.

Re-discovering our innate understanding of plants

Deepening our knowledge of the plant world by getting to know the plants intimately using our senses and intuition, as well as our analytical brain, is enriching and a tonic for our times, in which we seem so disconnected from our feelings and environment.

By observing the plants in detail, we can discover their intricate beauty and awaken a sense of amazement and wonder in ourselves. It is from this place that connection arises.

For us, working with plants is a statement of selfempowerment and an expression of a deep aspiration to protecting nature. The more one understands about herbs and plants and their interconntecteness, the more one wants to create and protect environments in which they can grow and flourish.

Awakening to the body's wisdom

Mind-body techniques and somatic practices are at the core of what we do.

We believe that our bodies are intelligent resources. When we learn to tune into their knowledge, we have acces to the rich and reliable inner authority we are born with and that can guide us to be more alive and fulfilled.

Cycle awareness, re-creates our relationship to nature and earth by bringing us into contact with the cyclical wisdom of our bodies and the natural world around us.

As you work with this cyclical consciousness within yourself, you restore cyclical consciousness for those around you, and for the world at large. You reignite a responsiveness to life, and a pacing that allows a sense of spaciousness and rest. This is powerful medicine in a world that lives in a 24/7 top-gear mode.

‍Cycle awareness restores a sense of belonging to life, and belonging to earth. That’s what’s needed in the world, to both thrive, and indeed, survive at this crucial time*

The land as medicine

We are very intimately intertwined with the land we live in. We are made of the same materials as our landscapes. Through food, we absorb the elements of the soil. Through smell we absorb the language of plants. Our bones are made up of the same material as the rocks. We have inner waters in our veins and in each and every cell there is a fire burning.

We strongly believe that connecting to (wild) nature is as important for your health as making lifestyle and nutritional changes or taking herbal preparations. Nature heals in all its facets, not just by its chemical constituents. We believe that deep healing processes can be accessed in and actived by nature.

Environmental Sustainability

Wild, Wild & Botanical’s inherent values are rooted in respect, responsibility and reciprocity.

All aspects of the harvesting and production process are handled with care. All packaging is as sustainable as possible, while acknowledging there is more work to be done. We use glass & compostable tea bags for our offerings, and limit the use of plastic and aluminum where possible.

The majority of the ingredients have been sustainably wildcrafted or grown organically on our land. Where needed we buy ingredients from small local enterprises that follow regenerative principles and commit to sustainable agriculture.

Inspired by the Native American way of living, our harvesting and foraging process honors the exchange of life for life. We take only what we need, never the first, never the last. We take our time, ask permission and leave behind for others. We take only what is given to us and share as the earth has shared with us.

How we give back to the earth

Part of the money we generate with Wild, Wild & Botanical is given back to the earth by supporting TreeSisters, a social change and reforestation charity that is dedicated to tropical forest restoration. TreeSisters has so far planted over 25 million trees across 12 locations in Brazil, Borneo, Cameroon, India, Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar, Nepal and West Papua.

They fund a diverse portfolio of tropical reforestation projects that are ethical, community-led, expand natural forest cover and aim to avoid further deforestation. Their  projects support local communities and improve livelihoods, protect critically endangered species, and focus on gender parity and the participation of women.
